Well because of my inexperience I have just gotten my blog up and running. It has been a long couple of weeks between getting our website started (without paying an arm and a leg), and trying to create a prototype for some pictures for that website. I have also received some interest from investors -from the U.K- so that research has been quite an excruciating ordeal. I still have not decided whether to involve anyone else in this venture or not. I have to admit one of the most frustrating though has been trying to get this blog up and live. Again, remember I am the "dummie" they write those books for! So, my website should be up and going in the next couple of weeks. I found a great company online called "Volusion". They have great templates, shopping cart, and dozens of merchant accounts to choose from. They are very reasonable in their pricing and a month to month payment plan to boot. Remember I am the great new "hot" clothing line on a shoestring! If any of you have had similiar experiences please let me know in on the secrets! I have spent countless hours on this computer. I have designed 8 shirt designs already and have more to go. Also, I have finished my sports bottle design as well as my keychain and my bumper stickers. My goal this week is to get the shirts manufactured and be ready for my website to go live. I am so excited about all of this coming together!! I have a great support group here at home and I know that everyone is going to love this product. I believe that it is time for a positive change in this world for the young and old. (sound familiar?) If this endeavor doesn't work out for me maybe I could try being a politician!!!

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am embarking on a road less traveled and I am in the process of creating, marketing and manufacturing what may become one of the hottest and most sought after apparel and sportswear clothing line available today.
I started this project approximately 6 months ago after watching "The Big Idea w/ Donny Deutsch" on CNBC and never expected it to grow in such a magnificent way.
What started out as an idea, a dream, has now grown into a million dollar idea. The beginning of a company which will be as well known for the positiveness in what it represents and what the slogan will mean to people from 1 to 99 .
My blog is dedicated to my passion for the brand which I have created and to the lives that it will touch and change the way people look at others for what they wear. The ambition that I have for my product is the same ambition that consumers have for what they believe in from health and fitness, life, their goals, their achievements, their charities and even the environment.
This blog will keep you posted every 2 - 3 days on the progress I am making with launching a spectacular apparel and and sportswear brand. You will watch as it grows and be able to see and read the pitfalls and roadblocks which I may encounter on the road to my american dream.
TO DATE : 2-11-08 - I have created my brand logo and slogan which I will launch on my blog for all to see within the next couple of weeks. I have contacted several angel investers by email and have finally gotten a wonderful response from Paul Lewis who recommended that I steer away from investers at this time and concentrate on getting my website launched and make the big guys contact me. Exciting news for me because he thought my idea was magnificent and I should go for it.
I have been in contact with several ecommerce web designers and am currently reviewing their estimates to see who I will reward the oppurtunity to be part of creating the best apparel and sportswear site to hit the market.
I am excited about what will be in store for me tomorrow. I have contacted Kenneth Cole @ Kenneth Cole productions to see if there is interest on his part in licensing my product. Not sure if I wanna do that but I will keep you posted.
I also finished my first drawings of additional products which will be offered which include a sports bottle, keychains, coffee mugs and and bumper stickers and decals. Its all coming soon !!!
I will tell you that this product will be larger than "Life Is Good" and Nike's "Just Do It" which was brought out several years ago. It will be of great quality, reasonable in price, and yes there will also be organic material also.
